Brendan Taylor New Captain Of Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe wicketkeeper-batsman Brendan Taylor has been appointed the new captain in the upcoming tri-series against Australian 'A' and South Africa 'A'. Zimbabwe Cricket Board spokesman made the announcement after the meeting.


Brendan Taylor was named captain in place of the all-rounder Elton Chigumbura. 25 years old wicketkeeper-batsman, Taylor has played 118 ODIs so far. He has scored 3 centuries and 21 fifties.

Zimbabwe Cricket managing director Ozias Bvute, said: "We have watched Taylor become mature and experienced player and we fully support his new role."

Sri Lanka ODI, T20 squad for Australia

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
