Pakistan Cricket Board has agreed to allow Afridi to play for county side Hampshire.
Sources said that board will allow Afridi to join Hampshire in the next week. Afridi met with PCB Chairman Ijaz Butt in the presence of a government official.
A source said the outcome of the meeting was positive. Afridi now can play for Hampshire.
Afridi's manager Umran Khan also confirmed that the meeting was positive and both sides agreed to resolve by mutual consent.He said Hampshire manager Giles White is very happy.
