Afrid can Say Good Bye to ODI


Ireland tour of Pakistan, All-rounder Shahid Afridi is unhappy with lost the possession of his captaincy.Soon He can say Goodbye to the one-day international cricket.

Sources said leaked reports of differences with coach Waqar Younis in the media after upset with the attitude of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Afridi has decided to retire.

In Ireland tour PCB has maintained their place in the team, but Misbah-ul-Haq has been appointed captain.

Even PCB Chairman Ijaz Butt said that so far the place of afridi is not safe in the team and they will have to prove themselves.

Board sent notice to him because of Afridi's reaction after the selection of team.

IPL Spot-fixing, Sreesanth and 2 other Rajasthan Royals players held

Three Rajasthan Royals players, Sreesanth , Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested on Thursday for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 6. The trio allegedly received upto Rs 60 lakh for conceding runs in a pre-determined over from bookies with possible Mumbai underworld links. The special cell of the Delhi Police arrested Sreesanth and his teammates — Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan — in Mumbai early this morning for indulging in spot-fixing in at least three IPL matches on May 5, 9 and 15. Eleven bookies have also been arrested from Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The police are on the look-out for two more bookies. A Delhi court has sent the three players and all bookies to five-day police custody. The players, who have been suspended by the BCCI, have been brought to Delhi and charged under Section 420 (cheating) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy).
