12 Indian Players will play in Sri lankan Premier League | SPL


Munaf Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin including 12 Indian cricketers is expected to play in the Sri Lankan Premier League begin from July 19, 2011

Sri Lanka Premier League postponed

According to a Cricket website 'www.islandcricket.lk' report, Sri Lanka Cricket has renowned several world players in the league.It include West Indian Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard who is currently playing in Indian Premier League. In addition to Gayle the Royal Challengers Bangalore Daniel Vettori can play in the Sri Lankan Premier league.

Praveen Kumar is also in the list of SPL.They are full of surprise selection because they have been selected for West Indies tour, when SPL will run is expected to be associated with their national team.


Indian players will not play in SPL



India in July for a series of four Tests to go to England followed by a one-day series and only Twenty20 match will be played.

The list of other Indian players are Dinesh Karthik, Irfan Pathan, Manish Pandey, Manoj Tiwari, Paul Valthaty, Ravindra Jadeja, Saurabh Tiwary, Umesh Yadav and Vinay Kumar.

Just 33 foreign players have been placed yet.David Warner, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Akhtar, Umar Akmal, Albie Morkel, Herschelle Gibbs, Kevin O'Brien and Tamim Iqbal are included

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia.
