Shane Warne Bronze statue will be placed on MCG


Great spin bowler Shane Warne will be included in the ten great players whose bronze statue will be placed out of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

Shane Warne during the competition has announced his retirement from cricket.

41 years, Warne is reported today on Twitter, "just finished measurement sitting for my statue at the mighty MCG" Louis Laumen has drawn ten players including Donald Bradman and Dennis Lillee.

Warne retired from Test cricket in 2007, he was at that time the world record 145 Test and 708 wickets

The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
