India's defeat in India, More important-Strauss


England Test captain Andrew Strauss for the Indian team to beat on its Homeground is more important than winning Ashes trophy.

Strauss claimed that he had reached the top in international cricket, but his desire to let beat team India in India. The reason to beat the best team like India, considered a symbol of respect for more important than winning the Ashes trophy ever.

captain said "for us Ashes is very important, but now we have to think further.I wish teams like India and South Africa to beat on their home ground."

Strauss said, I never beat India in Test Series and if England is to be the best team in the world, then we have to beat India. I definitely would like to say that for us defeat to India is more important than to go to Australia and winning the Ashes. World number one Test team India to tour West Indies in June after which India will be leaving for England.

IPL Spot-fixing, Sreesanth and 2 other Rajasthan Royals players held

Three Rajasthan Royals players, Sreesanth , Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested on Thursday for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 6. The trio allegedly received upto Rs 60 lakh for conceding runs in a pre-determined over from bookies with possible Mumbai underworld links. The special cell of the Delhi Police arrested Sreesanth and his teammates — Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan — in Mumbai early this morning for indulging in spot-fixing in at least three IPL matches on May 5, 9 and 15. Eleven bookies have also been arrested from Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The police are on the look-out for two more bookies. A Delhi court has sent the three players and all bookies to five-day police custody. The players, who have been suspended by the BCCI, have been brought to Delhi and charged under Section 420 (cheating) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy).
