Glamorgan sign Peter Hatzoglou as a replacement for Michael Neser

Glamorgan has secured the services of the talented 24-year-old leg-spinner Peter Hatzoglou on a short-term T20 contract.  Hatzoglou's impressive record of 42 wickets in 40 T20 matches makes him a valuable addition to the team.  Initially, the 24-year-old will be available for three matches, providing cover for fellow Australian player Michael Neser, whose absence in the Blast's opening four games is due to his commitment to the Australian training camp, where he is preparing for the upcoming World Test Championship and the Ashes series. Hatzoglou was playing for Buckhurst Hill in club cricket when Glamorgan approached him. IPL 2023: Jason Roy joins Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have announced the signing of England’s batsman Jason Roy for IPL 2023.  The 32-year-old had previously played for the team in the 2017 and 2018 seasons. The Knight Riders have acquired him for INR 2.8 crore, which is above his base price of INR 1.5 crore. KKR have lost two of their star players. Shreyas Iyer, who was meant to lead the team, has been sidelined from the tournament due to a lower back injury. Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan has pulled out due to personal reasons.  But in the midst of all this turmoil, KKR have made an exciting acquisition by bringing in Jason Roy. The right-handed batter is expected to make valuable contributions to his team in the upcoming fixtures. 

Leicestershire snap up Australian batsman Peter Handscomb

Australian middle-order batsman Peter Handscomb has signed with the English county team Leicestershire for the first two months of their upcoming campaign.  The 31-year-old Victorian batsman has scored 145 runs at an average of 29 during the recent Indian series. He will be standing in for Indian batsman Ajinkya Rahane, who will not be available due to his commitment to the 16th edition of Indian Premier League with the Chennai Super Kings.  Handscomb is well-acquainted with English conditions, having previously played for several English county teams such as Durham, Gloucestershire, Middlesex, and Yorkshire.
