Sydney, Tuesday, 31 May 2011 Australia fast bowler Brett Lee believes that Michael Clarke will prove to be a successful captain and believes Former captain Ricky Ponting can play a major role for the team as well as for the Young Players in the Team. Brett Lee, said to the local newspaper in the interview - there is no doubt that Clarke has a good understanding of cricket.he also proved himself while he was Vice-captain of the team. I believe that he will do great work for Australian cricket . Its Not that he became suddenly the candidate of this post,from the last several years he was in monitoring of Ricky Ponting and he was also in the position of vice-captain. Shane Warne Bronze statue will be placed on MCG

Great spin bowler Shane Warne will be included in the ten great players whose bronze statue will be placed out of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The Kiwi would boycott Champions League

New Zealand Players Association has threatened that if last year's Champions League Twenty20 cricket tournament prize money owed was not paid soon so his players will not play in the tournament in October. Association chief Heath Mills said after the eight months conclusion of the competition the prize money, close to USD 200,000 , is still pending by the organisers.Mills said the players have lost faith in the tournament. It is an embarrassing situation.

Dhoni's Statement after becoming champion in IPL

Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the second time IPL champions. After beating the royal challengers banglore by 58 runs, Dhoni said both victory are special,the last time we struggled to reach the semifinals but this time we had reached playoff with ease. He said i am also happy that we have also got Fairplay Award . People say that you will have to play hard cricket but we also showed that you can win with Fair Play. Dhoni said in the final Vijay and Michael Hussey got a good start and R. Ashwin's bowling has become easier to win. Suresh Raina is the captain for West Indies Tour

Indian Cricket Team has been announced for the West Indies Tour. Suresh Raina is the captain of the ODI team and Harbhajan Singh is the vice-captain in west indies tour. Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh will not tour to the West Indies. TamilNadu opener Abhinav Mukund is the new face in the team.
