Pakistan spinner Raza Hasan arrested at rave party

Pakistani left arm spinner Raza Hasan has been caught by police at alcohol-fuelled rave party held in Islamabad. The police has raided a hotel and detained the 22-year-old alongside a bunch of people including dancers for allegedly partying involving alcohol. Earlier, Hasan had tested positive for consuming cocaine and faces a two-year ban from international cricket. Consumption of alcohol is prohibited in Pakistan and also a strict punishable offence.   Hasan has played ten Twenty20 internationals and only a single one-day international for his country.

Derbyshire sign Proteas’ Hashim Amla

Derbyshire have announced the signing of South Africa captain Hashim Amla on a short-term deal. The 31-year-old, who has scored 6757 runs in 82 Tests for South Africa at an average of 52.78 - will play three T20 Blast fixtures and two County Championship matches as a replacement for Martin Guptill, who has been called up for New Zealand’s Test squad for next month's tour of England. "I'm delighted to have the opportunity to play in England this summer, " the veteran batsman told the club's official website .  "Derbyshire are an ambitious club with an exciting young team and I've enjoyed working with Graeme [Welch, Elite Performance Director] before. I'm looking forward to making a strong contribution in both four-day and Twenty-20 cricket for Derbyshire next month.” Amla`s first Derbyshire encounter will be on May 10 when they take on Northamptonshire in the County Championship. Report: India’s itinerary till December 2015

The Indian Cricket Team is all set to fly to Zimbabwe in July, as per the reports from Mumbai Mirror . Team India will travel to Bangladesh, right after the conclusion of the eighth edition of Indian Premier League.  India to play 3 One Day International’s and two Twenty20’s against Zimbabwe and later will head to Sri Lanka for a three-test match series, under Virat Kohli's captaincy. In October, India to host South Africa which includes three Tests. In December, the team is expected (not sure) to play against Pakistan in the UAE. Expected Itinerary: June: Tour of Bangladesh July: Tour of Zimbabwe August: Tour of Sri Lanka September: Champions League T20 October-November: South Africa's tour of India December: Tour of UAE against Pakistan

The Lyth of the Land

Adam Lyth scored 1489 runs at an average of 68 in the county championship last summer. His partnership with Alex Lees was prolific. New Zealand: Vettori and Mills announces retirement

Black Caps off-spinner Daniel Vettori and fast bowler Kyle Mills has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. Vettori, 36, made his debut against England in 1997 - finishes with 362 Test wickets in 113 matches, and 305 wickets in 295 ODIs.
