Former Australian fast bowler Craig McDermott has been appointed as Australia's bowling coach. South African fast bowler Allan Donald was also in the race of Australia's bowling coach, but finally McDermott was appointed. Former Test opener Justin Langer has been extended the agreement for the next 12 months as Australia's cricket team's assistant coach.
Cricket Australia (CA) said in a statement "Cricket Australia on Thursday announced that former Australian fast bowler Craig McDermott as a bowling assistant coach will join the Australian team."
CA also announced that former test opener Justin Langer have been posted for the 12 months again as a assistant coach.Cricket Australia general manager of cricket Michael Brown said the 46-year-old McDermott and his experience and their ability were selected.McDermott had played 138-ODI in which he has 203 wickets to his name.
