Afridi will play Sri Lankan Premier League | SPL


ODI skipper Shahid Afridi, including the top Pakistani cricketers will play Sri Lankan Premier League [SPL] at the end of this year. Pakistani players had not a chance to play of the last three sessions of Indian Premier League (IPL).

Afridi, in the early season of Sri Lankan Premier League has already accepted the offer of 35,000$ amount from one of the franchises.Pakistan captain Afridi revealed that he has approved three-year contract and it will be double in 2012.

Afridi said,"I already accepted the offer to become captain from one of the franchise of Sri Lankan Premier League. This is a great opportunity and I will try to take full advantage of it."

Afridi has got to offer in addition Bangladesh Premier League.He reported the matter.

Apart from Afridi Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq, retired fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, Umar Gul, Abdul Razzaq and Umar Akmal has also contracted with SPL.

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia. Bracken took his retirement in January and could not play the entire 2010 season last year due to injury. According to the report of Daily Telegraph Bracken is seeking about $1 million from CA. The hearing of the case in the court on November 30
